Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of terms

By using Claira, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the service. These terms apply to all users, including trip organizers and invited group members.

2. What Claira is

Claira is a group travel planning platform. It helps groups vote on destinations and dates, discover flights, restaurants, and activities, and build day-by-day itineraries. Claira does not book travel on your behalf. All bookings are made directly with airlines, hotels, restaurants, and other providers.

3. Your account

• ▸You must be at least 18 years old to create an account.
• ▸You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure.
• ▸You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
• ▸You may delete your account at any time from Settings → Account.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• ▸Use Claira for any unlawful purpose.
• ▸Post content that is harmful, offensive, or violates others' rights.
• ▸Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the service.
• ▸Use automated means to scrape or access the service.
• ▸Impersonate another person or entity.
• ▸Spam or harass other users via the invite or comment features.

5. Content you create

You retain ownership of content you create in Claira (trip names, notes, comments, etc.). By using Claira, you grant us a limited license to store, display, and share that content within the service as needed to operate it (for example, showing your trip details to members you have invited).

6. Third-party services

Claira displays flight results from Duffel, restaurant and activity results from Google Places, and may include links to third-party booking sites. We are not responsible for the accuracy, pricing, availability, or terms of any third-party services. All transactions with third parties are between you and those providers.

7. Disclaimers

Claira is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. Flight prices, availability, and restaurant information displayed in the app are sourced from third parties and may not always be accurate or up to date. Claira does not guarantee the accuracy of any travel information shown.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Claira is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, including but not limited to travel disruptions, booking errors, or third-party service failures.

9. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. You may stop using Claira and delete your account at any time.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. Continued use of Claira after changes constitutes acceptance. We will notify users of material changes by email.
