Where to go

🇪🇸 Spain (Madrid + Barcelona)

High-speed trains connect the cities. Two very different vibes — Madrid for culture and food, Barcelona for architecture and beach.

🇮🇹 Italy (Rome + Amalfi)

Rome for history and food, then a ferry to the Amalfi Coast. The classic Italy trip.

🇭🇷 Croatia (Dubrovnik + Split + Hvar)

Old city walls, islands, and the Adriatic. Perfect for summer.

Things to do

Build in one free afternoon per person — reduces group fatigue
Book restaurants for group dinners 2–3 weeks in advance
Research train options between cities early — high-speed European trains book out
Designate a day navigator each morning who knows the plan
Local market visit in each city — best way to understand the culture

Where to eat

Research the one "must" restaurant in each city and book it early
Ask your hotel or Airbnb host for their local recommendation — beats TripAdvisor
One group dinner per city at a table-service restaurant
Otherwise, explore independently — reduces group decision fatigue

Planning tips

💡Start planning 4–6 months out for international group trips
💡Book trains between cities 2–3 months ahead — they sell out and get expensive
💡Fly into one hub and meet there, or everyone flies to the first destination independently
💡Keep to 2–3 cities maximum for 10–14 days — rushing is exhausting
💡Travel insurance is worth it for international group trips
